Today's a pretty minor election for Pflugerville - 16 state amendments (the TX Constitution is FUBAR and probably should be rewritten) and a school bond proposal. Expected turnout is lower than Perry's share of the vote. I can't decide how I feel about that - higher turnout would be better democracy, a truer expression of the people's will. The current lower turnout means there might be an election where I (and the other 50% of winning voters) actually determine a race, and it's easier to find parking.
